TIP Summit showcases latest tech solutions for energy, healthcare and environment sectors
The summit unveiled the next generation of solutions and projects, including a drone that can extinguish fires.
The TIP summit in Abu Dhabi saw over 30 tech innovation debuts across two days.
Totalling, 2000 visitors and 154 exhibiting start-ups, technology solutions with the aim of solving challenges presented by the energy, environment and healthcare sectors were showcased.
Over 40 inventions were awarded in addition to 10 other winners who will receive patent support to start registering their first inventions in the UAE. The patents will be filed under the Global Innovation Index.
Wrapping up the event, H.E. Abdullah Bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Cabinet Member and Minister of Infrastructure Development and H.E. Mohammed Al-Shurafa Al Hammadi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, visited the stat-ups pavilion encouraging the entrepreneurs and inventors to continue in thinking “outside the box”.
Al Shurafa added: “TIP makes the perfect platform for global networking as it’s bringing together renowned speakers and scientists, decision makers; gifted and creative inventors and investors, across the globe, here in Abu Dhabi, with the sole purpose of solving some of the world’s most pressing challenges.”
