Russian based technology company, AR MORE specializing in Spark AR development announces its official launch in the UAE
Spark AR is a Facebook owned platform that allows digital artists to create Augmented Reality experiences for Facebook and Instagram, otherwise known as “filters”. AR MORE works with creators around the world to conceptualize and develop different types of filters for social media: face filters, full body filters, 3D filters, animated filters, AR games and AR short clips.
The company recently made history and is setting the benchmark for foreign businesses after receiving the UAE’s first virtual business license introduced in October 2019.
Communications and Marketing professional, Mina Litvinova is the Founder of AR MORE. Mina is no stranger to the region, she spent 10 years in Dubai having worked with Leo Burnett, Mercedes-Benz and Mars INC before returning to Moscow, where she started experimenting with immersive technologies as marketing tools. She shares her expertise by providing trainings on mixed reality to media industry professionals and enthusiasts and has lectured on Augmented Reality in organizations such as Russia’s IT giant Rambler Media Group and communications agency Serviceplan in Dubai, she also hosts open talks and lectures on mixed reality technologies.
When asked what prompted her to establish a virtual office in the UAE, Mina explained: “AR is a booming industry that is estimated to grow up to 80% over the next 5 years (according to Global Market Insights*). The UAE has one of the world’s highest smartphone penetration rates, which makes it a very promising market. I represent digital creators mostly from Russia and Ukraine – countries that are known to be the cradles of excellent developers. When the UAE government announced introduction of virtual licenses I realized that it allows us to enter the market not only with the strongest product offering in terms of technical expertise, but also the most price competitive price offering, since the virtual license eliminates high overheads, so I immediately applied. When my application was approved, Department of Economic development informed me that we are the first business to have been granted a virtual license and I was very touched to see that the government officials were as excited as I was when I came to pick up my license in person"
