"Connectivity is becoming the fourth utility," - Ehab Kanary, Vice President of enterprise, Middle East and Africa

Gitex, Gitex Technology Week

Commscope IS bringing its recently acquired brands Arris and Ruckus to the show this week. The vendor completed the acquisition of Arris, which included Ruckus, earlier this year.

The combined entity is showcasing its indoor wireless platform CommScope’s OneCell. Its Era C-RAN antenna system uses any third-party signal source, on-premise or in the cloud, and high power remotes to serve any venue.

“As data connectivity is becoming the fourth utility in cities across the Middle East, businesses and homes across the region are rushing to implement it. CommScope provides the connectivity solutions that enable a smart future for network operators across the region,” said Ehab Kanary, vice president of enterprise, Middle East and Africa.

Delivering reliable, high-bandwidth Wi-Fi to every corner of the home and providing set-top hardware and software products is fundamental for smart homes. Visitors at the CommScope stand can experience technology around entertainment device platforms, smart media devices and the ultra-connected home.
