Bee’ah is constructing an AI-powered, net zero energy building.

It made sense for Bee’ah to invest in holistic sustainable development, to the extent of embarking on a green building project unlike any other in the region. Designed by the Zaha Hadid Architects, and slated for completion by 2020, the building is expected to achieve the LEED Platinum certification, setting a benchmark for green buildings in the UAE. The 7,450m2 complex will be completely powered by renewable energy.
Our fully integrated strategy includes utilising resources as effectively as possible and generating resources renewably or reducing the site’s existing impact on the environment. To answer specifically about the use of artificial intelligence, our HQ will be the first fully AI powered office building in the Middle East. With a sweeping array of smart building solutions powered by Microsoft, and using the Johnson Control Digital Vault offering, we will outfit the building with intelligent edge systems, devices and software designed to optimise energy efficiency, make the best use of available space andhelp the building’s occupants be more productive through a virtual AI persona.
Utilising a hybrid of sensors, interfaces, algorithms and processing power, the SaaS-based platform will have its own persona and voice-activated interface. This will integrate into existing work environments and help users to function at an optimised rate by streamlining day-to-day tasks. Through machine learning and facial recognition, this technology will engage with visitors and unlock smart functions that offer guidance, book appointments, document information, review staff duties, reallocate resources and auto-fill applications adding a personal element to the way governments and businesses operate.
In addition to providing a safe, healthy and secure work environment, the system will provide a futuristic experience for visitors. It will undertake the entire visitor concierge experience, via robots; hosting meetings and supporting multimedia tasks, while ensuring functional ambiance according to sustainability parameters.
