New launches

Companies are increasingly adopting a hybrid work approach to reduce costs, increase performance efficiency and to address health concerns relating to COVID-19. To help their clients address hybrid work-related security concerns, Alibaba Cloud has released a fully encrypted database system that allows users to encrypt their data before uploading it to the cloud for processing, giving businesses an extra layer of compliance and privacy assurance while benefitting from cloud-native database systems. The company has also upgraded its Database Management Services (DMS) to provide a one-stop solution that enhances data integration, cleaning and development for enterprises.

Alibaba Cloud’s latest products offer improved interactive analytics capabilities and offline batch processing.

To assist enterprises in dealing with hybrid processing requirements, Alibaba Cloud also upgraded its cloud-native data warehouse AnalyticDB to handle both online interactive analytics and offline batch processing simultaneously in one system, providing businesses with the AI-powered supremacy in dealing with complex workload with reduced cost, and increased stability and efficiency.

The company has recently upgraded its Ganos engine, a cloud-native spatio-temporal database engine that can analyse and translate 3D and 4D spatial data to build digital twins mirroring the physical world. The engine has been upgraded to address the growing analytic requirement of multidimensional data, especially in the field of construction, transportation, urban planning, natural landscape surveying and mapping.

Alibaba Cloud recently launched a series of products aimed at assisting companies in the transition to hybrid work environments.
