Dubai World Trade Center has announced that registraions for GITEX Technology Week are now open.

With over 4800+ exhibitors, more than 150 speakers, the GITEX Technology Week has seen well over 100,000 people attend the biggest technology event in Dubai, UAE that brings the entire tech ecosystem in one place. To put it quite simply, GITEX is an industry-defining platform where renowned names in technology, business and government meet to push the global transformation agenda ahead.

This year GITEX is now at the forefont of many conversations. We know 5G ready for the big time but what will it look like? The only consensus is that it’s a major breakthrough that will revolutionise connectivity, of both people and devices, to transform every industry and sector out there. This conference is for companies delivering the future to make plans today for leveraging 5G technology for their business

There's also a shift on making infrastructure smarter. They're the wave of the future, 60% of the world’s population is expected to live in cities by 2050. With citizens at the epicentre of a smart city, just how smart are the world’s smartest cities? 2020 will not be a continuation of the past when it comes to banking technology. Among that, there's also the topic of discussion surrounding FintTech while GITEX Future Stars brings the spotlight on start-ups looking to get noticed.

Which technology trends will matter most in the coming years? AI? Cloud? Digital-only banks? These are many of the burning questions you'll find answers to at the exhibition.
