Instagram will now show you how much you interact with your followers
The move is for Instagram users to filter out followers they don't interact with
Instagram has introduced the “Most shown in feed” and “Least interacted with.” options so users can check their following or filter out users if they want to clean them up.
“Instagram is really about bringing you closer to the people and things you care about — but we know that over time, your interests and relationships can evolve and change,” the company spoked to TechCrunch “Whether you graduate, move to a new city, or become obsessed with a new interest and find a community, we want to make it easier to manage the accounts you follow on Instagram so that they best represent your current connections and interests.”

What this means is that if you're looking to trim who you follow, Instagram will now let you do that. It will probably remind you of accounts you'd be horrified to know you were following over time but that's why the option exists so that a user's scrolling experiences change like they do over time.
The update is now rolling out to users globally on both iOS and Android
