Dubai Customs World (DC World) is looking at working with Dubai eGovernment on e-payment systems.

Dubai Customs World (DC World) is looking at working with Dubai eGovernment on e-payment systems.

The two organisations last week signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), agreeing to share knowledge, capabilities, best practices and services.

The MoU was signed by Hamad Fadhel Al Mazrooei, CEO of DC World, and Salem Al Shair, director of eServices at Dubai eGovernment.

“We want to benefit from Dubai eGovernment’s expertise in IT solutions, especially in the field of electronic payment systems in order to enable our customers to carry out all financial transactions with us directly through their bank accounts. We also want to develop total e-applications for all dealings with our projects and partners in other countries,” Al Mazrooei said after the signing.

Dubai eGovernment will provide DC World with tailor-made IT solutions. Both parties also pledged to allocate resources required to implement the MoU.
