Nexthink urges greater staff engagement
"Many technology projects fail because employees aren’t involved in the strategy phase," Maged Eid, area VP, META Nexthink.
Nexthink is reinforcing the importance of engaging employees as part of any successful digitalisation project at today’s show.
According to IDC, enterprises will spend almost US$2 trillion annually on digital transformation strategies by 2022.
Although the Middle East is on the verge of massive digital disruption, organisations must involve employees when planning their IT strategy. Failure to do so can result in poor IT experiences that can cost organisations up to AED 91 million per year, according to a recent Nexthink study.
It is crucial for companies to recognise how important employees’ experiences are to their overall business, as happy, motivated employees allow companies to innovate and deliver key objectives.
“Many technology initiatives fail because employees aren’t involved in the strategy phase. This is because IT departments do not have a good enough understanding of what’s needed for employees to do their jobs,”Maged Eid, area VP, META, Nexthink.
“Nexthink’s technology provides real time visibility and insights that enable the IT department to take a proactive approach to improve its performance and resolve potential problems. This helps foster a positive employee experience and boost productivity,” Eid added.
