Smart Dubai is focusing on paperless government, said Dr. Aisha Bin Bishr
SMART DUBAI has once again brought together a collection of Dubai Government departments and agencies on its stand today. The stand, which is also home to private sector partners, is highlighting the emirate’s strategies, services and initiatives that will expedite the shift towards a paperless government “GITEX Technology Week brings together experts, decision makers and world leading tech pioneers which have had a notable influence on the smart city sector,” said HE Dr. Aisha Bint Butti Bin Bishr, DG, Smart Dubai.
“The biggest tech show in the Middle East, North Africa offers a tremendous opportunity for attendees to network, explore the latest the tech world has to offer, and truly showcase a glimpse of the future,” HE. Dr. Aisha added.
Smart Dubai’s stand houses a collection of Dubai Government initiatives as it edges closer to its goal of a paperless system by 2021.
“Smart Dubai is collaborating with government entities and private sector partners to shed light on the initiatives launched across the Dubai Government, and to showcase the progress we have made on the ambitious Dubai Paperless Strategy 2021, which seeks to save hundreds of hours for customers and the government, increasing Dubai’s sustainability, competitiveness and economic growth,” HE Dr. Aisha added.
