Enterprise reseller Emirates Computers aims to exploit current level of technology growth in the Qatar market

Emirates Computers is opening a comprehensive IT products and services operation in Qatar through a partnership with Ebrahim AL Neama Holding.

The operation, which will be based in Doha, will cover communication and networking infrastructure, software solutions, systems integration projects and security solutions.

Emirates Computers claims will also cater to the requirements of key industries such as hospitality, real estate, government, transportation and utilities.

Hani Harik, president and CEO at Emirates Computers, claimed that rising demand for enterprise solutions in Qatar made it a key market for Emirates Computers. "Together with our partner, Ebrahim AL Neama Holding, we aim to provide customers in Qatar with best-in-class technology and services," he said. "We believe it is the right time for us to have a direct local presence, which will help us to better serve our customers and also strengthen our position in the Middle East as the leading solutions provider and systems integrator."

The opening of a Qatar office marks a sustained expansion phase for Emirates Computers. It also recently set-up a Nokia service factory in Pakistan after striking a partnership with distribution company Teletec.

The Lahore-based facility will focus on improving local assistance to Nokia customers and servicing warrantees.
