Focus extends its reach

Middle East ISV continues to strengthen its network of resellers in the region with new distributor in Bahrain

Enterprise software developer Focus Softnet has appointed Capital Group IT as a distributor for its new business management software suite, Focus Reach, in the Bahraini channel.

Syed Mohammed, country head at Focus Softnet Bahrain, said: "Capital Group has the knowledge, expertise and strong customer base, which makes them an ideal partner to promote Focus Reach. By partnering with a highly reputed and established IT solutions company like Capital Group IT, Focus Softnet is confident of capitalising on the market potential in Bahrain."

Focus Reach is designed especially for the SOHO segment and offers modules covering multiple aspects of an organisation's functions including financial, sales, inventory, job costing, production, payroll and cheque management. "The Focus team in Bahrain will be working closely with Capital Group to offer round-the-clock customer service and support to Focus Reach customers," added Mohammed.

The agreement with Capital Group IT, which also partners with vendors such as Intel, HP, Fujitsu Siemens and Symantec follows earlier deals with a number of resellers in countries such as Iran, Syria, Jordan and Egypt.

Focus Softnet is currently in the process of adapting its strategy so that there is greater emphasis on the channel. It claims resellers represent the ideal way for it to reach the small business market.
