LogMeIn, the remote access and SaaS solutions provider, is making its GITEX Technology Week debut this year.

Gerald Byrne, EMEA channel sales director, says that after visiting the event last year, the company decided that GITEX was an ideal platform to highlight LogMeIn's expanded presence in the region.

"With this in mind, we have heavily invested in our GITEX presence in 2018, with a large stand on the main concourse, supported by a broad message across media to partners and customers," says Byrne.

The region offers tremendous potential for LogMeIn's products, he adds, especially given the high degree of technology evolution and growing use cases of cloud technology and IoT.

One specific area of transformation is customer service, and the company's products such as Bold360 and Bold360ai are delivering that sea change, says Byrne.

"Customers in the region are using Bold360ai to reimagine relationships with customers and users, driving continuous improvements for both the users and their customers," Byrne explains.

LogMeIn customers in the region include universities, banks, governments and SMBs, utilising products such as GoToMeeting, LastPass, Bold360ai and Rescue to simplify how they work, he adds.

"For example, universities are using GTM and LastPass to help their students securely work together to combine on project work no matter where they are based in the region," Byrne adds.
