Ingram Micro signs as NVIDIA distributor
Distribution partnership is for Middle East Turkey and A Africa market
Regional VAD Ingram Micro Inc, has signed a distribution agreement with NVIDIA, a provider of artificial intelligence (AI) computing technology.
In terms of the agreement, Ingram Micro is authorised to sell and promote NVIDIA's deep learning, gpu virtualisation and high performance computing solutions in the GCC countries, Turkey and South Africa.
Dr. Ali Baghdadi, SVP and chief executive, Ingram Micro in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa region said: "We are very excited to sign this agreement with NVIDIA. Last year, Ingram Micro established its own Internet of Things (IoT) and AI Business Unit in the Middle East, the first of its kind in the region. It is a ‘Center of Excellence', a solutions provider and a point of expertise for our partners. We put a lot of focus on developing our own ready and customised solutions for enterprises in the IoT and AI space."
Baghdadi said the relationship with NVIDIA opens many new opportunities for Ingram Micro and the reseller community in today's data-driven business environment.
