Batelco cuts internet cost
The Bahraini telco provider has reduced the cost of broadband for businesses.
Batelco cut the monthly rental rates of its single fixed internet protocol (IP) address service for business and education broadband customers by 80% as of January 1 this year.
The operator’s broadband business customers will now pay only US$54 per month as opposed to the current US$265, while education customers will pay US$26 per month, compared to a charge of US$132 previously.
“The reduced prices are aimed at encouraging business development and supports Batelco’s commitment to offer the best quality broadband and its related services at the best value for money,” said Batelco corporate affairs general manager Ahmed Al Janahi.
“Batelco will continue monitoring customers’ requirements and regularly upgrade its internet related products and services in order to exceed customers’ expectations and demands,” he said.
