Alaris moves to transform the document imaging channel
Vendor focuses on partner enablement schemes through its recently launched Experience Centre
Alaris, a Kodak Alaris subsidiary, has said that it is rolling out channel initiatives aimed at helping its Elite resellers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) to transform their businesses in the document imaging segment.
The move comes after Alaris recently expanded its S2000 scanner line with the addition of the S2040 scanner. The company added that the recently unveiled range of scanners will be showcased at GITEX Technology Week 2018.
Naji Kazak, general manager, Alaris, said the document and imaging market in the MENA region is very promising. "The government and banking sectors remain the top spenders in the document imaging market, but we have seen increased interest from the insurance, healthcare and education sectors," he noted. "This is very encouraging as it shows the importance of digitisation in the region."
Kazak explained that channel partners who decide to work with Alaris enjoy quarterly incremental rebate structures and their sales people can accumulate points by registering their sales and redeem those points with various gift items. "We recently opened our first of a kind Experience Centre, and have designed an incentive to encourage resellers to bring their clients to the facility," he said. "In addition, we are offering a cash back incentive for the deals closed by resellers as a way of rewarding their loyalty and investment in our technology and solutions."
He said following the unveiling of the Experience Centre, resellers have been visiting the company's Dubai regional headquarters to learn more about thr solutions, partner schemes and incentives on offer. "We have been able to sign up many new Elite resellers in the Middle East like Visiontech in the UAE, Ashraf IT in Kuwait, Grapho Scan in Pakistan, Intelligent Technology and Smart Systems in KSA," he said. "In addition, we are in the process of signing up more new systems integrator partners across MENA."
Kazak pointed out that the feedback following the launch of the experience centre has been fantastic. "Everyone who has visited our Experience Centre is impressed by the solutions being demoed. We have received requests from resellers to visit our centre together with their clients. Clients are calling to book a visit and this has been rewarding them in particular, as they now have as they now have the chance to see how their operations would like in a real life environment," he said.
He said Alaris recently signed up Mindware as its distributor in the Middle East and this year at GITEX, the two companies will jointly exhibit solutions together. "I believe it will be a great opportunity to meet Mindware's extensive network of partners and show them our solutions on the ground," he said.
