New BlackBerry KEY2 LE launched
Latest BlackBerry from TCL Communication includes physical keyboard, thin and light design
TCL Communication has officially launched its new BlackBerry KEY2 LE.
The new addition to the BlackBerry KEY range retains the same design with physical keyboard, but in a thinner and lighter body.
The new phone will be on sale in the UAE from the beginning of this month, in 32GB and 64GB versions. US recommended retail price is $399 for the 32gb version and and $449 for 64GB.
The KEY2 LE has a lightweight polycarbonate frame and a newly designed soft textured back, with full-HD, 2.5D display. It also has a redesigned keyboard, with nearly 10% larger keys, with Speed Key shortcut that can be customized for 52 different shortcuts.
The phone has dual rear 13MP and 5MP cameras, with 8MP front camera, with features such as panoramic selfie mode and selfie enhancements, and Google Lens camera integration to enable the camera to used to search for information on things it is pointed at.
The new handset also includes productivity features such as built in dual account management to separate personal and business use across various applications. It also comes with privacy features such as onboard locker to store selected data on the device not in the cloud; Firefox focus privacy browser; and DTEK privacy and security scanner, along with commitment to monthly Android security updates.
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 4GB memory, 32GB or 64GB storage and MicroSD support. Battery life is up to 22 hours for mixed use, and the phone also has Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, enabling up to a 50% charge in about 36 minutes.
