Miral to use Microsoft technologies in digital transformation
Yas Island developer launches apps and websites for guests based on Microsoft solutions
Miral, the developer and promoter of Abu Dhabi's Yas Island resort, has partnered with Microsoft to develop digital services for visitors.
The company has already created an app and web portals for visitors to Yas Island's attractions, which include as Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld and the Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi.
The developer says it is utilising key Microsoft technologies as part of its digital transformation strategy with the aim of attracting 48 million guests by 2022. Miral is also creating a ‘wall-less' strategy to connect with customers digitally before they visit its parks, and during and after.
In the next phase of Miral's strategy, the company
Miral's multichannel customer experience platform will be built using Microsoft Azure's PaaS capabilities . Azure Identity will form the core of Yas ID - a unique single login solution that will allow Miral to keep connected to guests across digital touch points. Azure's Data and Analytics Platform and predictive intelligence tools will combine customer data through real-time dashboards, which can be used by employees to improve customer experience. The solution will incorporate the apps and web platform developed in Phase One.
The digitisation strategy will also include use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for sales and marketing across B2C, B2B, e-commerce, websites and mobile platforms. Social monitoring capabilities will be used to monitor visitor sentiment, brand presence, and campaigns.
