Luxury mobile phone brand Caviar has released a new series of iPhone X models with themes for the Gulf region.

The Russia-based company has created a new ‘Gulf Marvels' series, which features country crests and famous mosques rendered in yellow and white gold-plate, diamonds, malachite, composite onyx and mother-of-pearl.

The series includes models with representations of three renowned mosques, the Al-Haram mosque in Mecca; the Al-Masjid an-Nabawi Mosque in Medina; and the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.

The back of each phone features a likeness of the mosque in relief, complemented with a half-moon with a star decorated with a diamond. The design is finished with symbols and ornamentation inspired by Islamic tradition.

Other models in the Gulf Marvels range include handsets dedicated to leading countries, including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. Each of these features the country crest in gold-plated relief, with country name also in gold. The back panel of the phone is made of glossy black mother of pearl, to symbolise oil wealth of the countries.

The company said in a press release: "The brand Caviar always pays a big attention to the cultural peculiarities, history and traditions of the countries, which they are inspired by, by finding in them a mine of valuable information and meaningful cultural codes. By directing their look to the East, Caviar couldn't stay indifferent to the three main sanctuaries of Islam - the Al-Haram mosque in Mecca, the main hajj place of all Muslim, the Al-Masjid an-Nabawi Mosque in Medina, where the Prophet Muhammad is buried, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem standing on the place of the Prophet's ascension. To each of them, the design of iPhone X is dedicated."

Each of the iPhone X models is available in 64GB or 256GB models, in a numbered limited edition. Prices start from $4,200, available at https://caviar.global/caviar-iphone-x-en/gulfs-marvels/
