Omar Dragmeh to take on Regional Country Leader role for Oracle
Oracle has appointed Omar Draghmeh as the new Regional Country Leader for Kuwait and Bahrain.
Draghmeh will be responsible for accelerating the adoption of Oracle Cloud solutions, identifying new growth opportunities and enhancing engagement with key stakeholders in the country.
"Digital transformation in Kuwait is on the rise as businesses and public sector organisations now realise that Cloud solutions offer them unmatched speed, value and return on investment (ROI). IDC in fact estimates that IT spending in Kuwait will reach USD 1.7 billion in 2018", said Abdul Rahman Al Thehaiban, Senior Vice President - Technology, Middle East and Africa, Oracle.

With more than 25 years of experience across key leadership roles in the region, Draghmeh joins Oracle from Hewlett Packard where he held the role of Managing Director and Enterprise Group GM - Kuwait and Bahrain. Previously he was the Director for Government Sector at Microsoft Saudi Arabia.
