Deloitte builds plans to support Saudi digitalisation
Deloitte has launched a number of initiatives to support digital transformation in Saudi Arabia.

Deloitte has announced plans to support the development of a digitally skilled workforce in Saudi Arabia, through the opening of a Digital Delivery Centre and programs for students.

The DDC, the first for Deloitte in the region, will serve as a centre for the development of digital solutions, from strategy and design through to implementation, the company said. The DDC will provide employment and training opportunities for hundreds of Saudi nationals, as well as attracting the best digital talent from abroad.

Deloitte also announced that it will collaborate closely with schools and universities in the Kingdom, to provide work experience opportunities for students as well as train them for future careers.

These investments were announced during a visit by Deloitte Global CEO, Punit Renjen, to Saudi Arabia earlier this month.

"Deloitte in the Middle East is committed to the long term economic success of the Kingdom through Saudi youth talent development and the firm's nationalization programs. As part of the largest professional services network in the world, the initiatives and significant investments that Deloitte is putting in place are in line with the key elements needed to achieve Vision 2030,' said Ehsan Makhdoum, Riyadh managing partner.
