Sony unveils entertainment-focused Xperia handsets

Sony's new Xperia smartphones are focused on entertainment features.

Sony Mobile has added two new entertainment focused mobile devices to its line up after a launch at MWC 2018.

The Xperia XZ2 is intended to be "the most immersive entertainment device to captivate your senses", according to Sony, with extended 5.7 inch HDR Full HD+ display and powerful stereo speakers.

The phone also get a brand new Dynamic Vibration System, similar to the vibration systems in game controllers.

The world's most compact 5 inch smartphone XZ2 Compact offers premium performance with extended HDR Full HD+ display, Motion Eye camera and Sony's advanced AV technologies.

Both smartphones run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 screens and steel frames.

We have pushed Sony's boundaries even further with our new products for movie recording, viewing, and music listening - offering entertainment to the extreme."
