DP World taps Oracle Cloud to realise digital strategy
To create platform incorporating technologies in artificial intelligence, machine learning, IoT and blockchain
DP World will use Oracle cloud applications to standardise key core processes including finance, operations, procurement and human resources.
As part of DP World’s digital transformation strategy, the new platform will also incorporate technologies in artificial intelligence, machine learning, internet of things (IoT) and blockchain, in a bid to deliver smarter operations and create intelligent logistics for customers.
DP World seeks to develop complementary sectors in the global supply chain such as industrial parks, free zones and logistics to add value for all its stakeholders-employing cloud applications will help deliver on this vision by increasing efficiency, creating new services and supporting diversification.
