ESET seeks to recruit managed services provider partners

Initiative part of a broader strategy to expand market reach in the Middle East

Cyber security vendor ESET has revealed that it is seeking to appoint managed services provider (MSPs) partners across the region.

The company said the initiative is part of ESET's business strategy for 2018 in the Middle East, as it looks to further expand reach in the market with plans to introduce additional solutions for SMBs.

Dimitris Raekos, general manager, ESET Middle East, said this year the company is updating its partner programme by re-introducing rebates for GCC partners and rewarding much more the partners that bring new business. "We are continuing our focus in appointing more managed services provider (MSP) partners," he said. "Via our MSP partner programme, channel partners in the Middle East can take advantage of volume discounts and our daily billing and monthly invoicing programme."

Raekos said in the rest of the Middle East market, ESET has started the process of adjusting the targets of partnership levels in order to make them more achievable for the committed partners.

He explained that the ESET MSP partner programme is a cloud-based solution and soon will be available in different marketplaces in the region. "During the year, we plan to introduce a cloud solution for our SMB customers that will simplify their the management and deployment of our solutions," he said.
