HTC's squeezable U11+ smartphone enters UAE market
The new edition features a bigger screen with a thinner frame
HTC's squeezable smartphone, the HTC U11, now has an upgraded edition which is available in the UAE for AED 2849.
The HTC U11+ features elements of the HTC U11, but the key changes show a bigger screen but with a thinner frame. The new edition has stuck with the squeezable technology that enables owners to squeeze the sides of the device to launch the camera, use the voice assistant, open any app and take screenshots.
HTC has put comfort at the forefront of the device as it wants owners to use the device comfortably with one hand, for instance the 6-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio enables owners to watch movies and play games on a bigger screen with one hand. Plus the Edge Launcher allows users to access various features with one hand also.
The battery size has also been modified to 3,930mAh and it is complemented with 6GB RAM and 128GB memory.
Nikitas Glykas, president of HTC Middle East and Africa, said: "Innovation is inspired by human curiosity. Our customers want to go beyond what currently exists, and we want to deliver products that go above and beyond their expectations. This is the ethos of HTC's U series, and the U11+ is yet another addition to this diverse range that, we believe, will serve to define the mobile experience of the future."
The HTC U11+ is now available in Ceramic Black, Amazing Silver, and an unprecedented new colour, Translucent Black. The new device is now available for AED 2849 at selected stores in the UAE, including the HTC regional e-commerce store.
