Telco sponsors first regional event for online content creators, media influencers, fan communities, and industry professionals

du invited visitors to VIDXB to take part in its ‘lightbulb’ logo activation over the weekend, where they were able to write down their ideas, which then appeared within the hundreds of lights making up the du logo.

The telco was the telco partner for VIDXB, a regional confab of online content creators, media influencers, fan communities, and industry professionals.

Abdulwahed Juma, executive vice president of brand and corporate communications at du, said VIDXB was a great opportunity for the telco to be engage with a growing community in the online video world.

“At du, we feel it is important to celebrate aspiring youths and their goals in the world of content creation, as they are pioneering the future of our digital age. As an organisation we are committed to supporting inspiring entrepreneurs in all aspects of the business including the digital market,” Juma added.
