New managed solution allows businesses get the most out of their technology investments.

Etisalat is to launch a new cloud-based managed network solution based on Cisco Meraki wireless solutions.

The new Secure Cloud WiFi service enables SMB and Enterprise customers to centrally manage their wireless IT infrastructure from the cloud through a web-based dashboard.

Through the dashboard, customers can manage multiple locations while receiving usage insights and location based analytics from a single portal. The solution promises to reduce operational cost while creating new revenue streams through WiFi and network monetisation.

Salvador Anglada, chief business officer at Etisalat said Cisco Meraki brings the scalability, manageability and efficiency gains of the cloud to enterprise networks.

“We are excited to bring this offering to the market as it complements Etisalat’s strategy to provide more efficient, scalable solutions that simplify network management and help our customers empower mobile workforces,” said Anglada.

With businesses transforming to the mobile-cloud era, Cisco Meraki’s portfolio is designed to simplify technology and solve customers' networking and business enablement challenges, said Ali Amer, managing director, global service provider sales, Cisco Middle East and Africa.

“Etisalat’s full suite of managed services and support capabilities for Cisco Meraki brings tangible benefits to customers ranging from small and medium businesses to large enterprises, allowing them to get the most out of their technology investments,” he added.
