TP-Link hosts SMB partner event with Ethos Technologies
Networking vendor teams up with UAE distributor to showcase SMB products and unlock business opportunities
TP-Link Technologies, a maker of SOHO, SMB networking products and wireless LAN solutions, is today hosting a SMB partner event together with UAE-based distribution partner Ethos Technologies in Dubai.
According to the vendor the event aims to showcase SMB products, outline strategy and help systems integrators (SIs) to unlock business opportunities in the regional channel.
TP-Link said the first joint SMB partner event with Ethos Technologies being held at the Fairmount Hotel will also see the company outline a new SMB strategy for the market. The company added that demand for high performing business networking solutions is increasing in the SMB sector across the Middle East and that's why the company is partnering with Ethos Technologies for this event in Dubai.
Lucas Jiang, general manager, TP-Link MEA FZE and Imtiaz Ghani, general manager, Ethos Technologies will deliver keynote addresses at the event.
Jiang said the company has done several SMB events on its own and this time it's delighted to be hosting the first joint SMB partner event with Ethos, where it will introduce the SMB product portfolio to new SIs, outline the business strategy and share insights on how partners can grow their business in this market segment.
He said despite the current prevailing market conditions, partners have been dependable and continue to grow the TP-Link brand, business and their own businesses. "We are hoping the joint TP-Link and Ethos Technologies partner event will kick start our SMB agenda for the year ahead for all channel partners in MEA," he said.
Jiang added that alongside this event, TP-Link is also outlining its roadmap for 2018 and roll out a new round of TPNA and TPNP certification programme. "As we continue to raise the bar in the SOHO and SMB segments, it's critical that we share with our partners what is coming down the line and conduct proper product training" he said.
TP-Link has over the last 12 months increased its business development initiatives in the traditional IT channel, retail, telecoms and SMB segment.
TP-Link's SMB products include JetStream switches, Auranet business WiFi, Pharos wireless broadband and SafeStream router range.
