MBRSG launches Leadership Club to share best practice
Leadership club will create network of government officials
The Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG) has launched a ‘Leadership Club' initiative, which is intended to promote communications and build bonds between Dubai government officials, through the exchange of knowledge and best practices.
The initiative aims to build a network of strategic partnerships, promotes teamwork, and encourages creativity and the exchange of ideas among government decision makers.
It also introduces participants to the latest applications and technologies through lectures, workshops and an e-library aggregating all relevant legislations and government strategies, as well as scientific references.
The club was launched after the recent completion of the ‘Future Trip' program, which arranged field trips for government officials to successful organisations in the UAE and abroad to discuss different sectors and common best practice.
The launch ceremony was attended by His Excellency Dr Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, Executive President of MBRSG, along with Professor Raed Awamleh, Dean of MBRSG, and H.E Eng. Rashid Al Leem, Chairman of Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA); Hanan Mansour Ahli, Director of the Competitiveness Culture Department at the Federal Competitiveness & Statistics Authority (FCSA); and a number of Government officials who took part in the Future Trip programme.
HE Dr Al Marri said: "We are looking to promote teamwork and spark effective communication and information sharing between Dubai Government entities which serves to streamline decision-making and helps set compatible and synergistic policies across various Government bodies. The Club reflects MBRSG's commitment to consistently introducing new and innovative approaches to engage its members and encourage out-of-the-box thinking, all in a bid to promote sustainable development and long-term results."
