Teradata IntelliSphere delivers flexible analytical ecosystem
The new software portfolio combines multiple software components into a single subscription-based software license
Global data and analytics company Teradata has combined several of its enterprise-grade software components into a new portfolio under the name of Teradata IntelliSphere.
The new offering, which will be offered as a single subscription-based software license, provides the necessary tools for enterprises to devise a flexible and scalable analytical ecosystem.
Oliver Ratzesberger, chief product officer at Teradata, said: "Teradata IntelliSphere is a powerful, all-encompassing suite of robust software that orchestrates the modern analytical ecosystem and ultimately powers advanced analytics at scale."
He added: "With IntelliSphere, companies no longer need to purchase separate software applications to build and manage their ecosystem. Companies can design their environment to realise the full potential of their data and analytics today, with a guarantee that future updates can be leveraged immediately without another license or subscription."
The new IntelliSphere bundle comes coupled with a wide-range of existing Teradata products. This includes Teradata Listener, Teradata Unity, Teradata Hybrid Cloud Manager, and Multi-System Viewpoint, to name a few.
Additionally, the analytics company has revealed that as new software-based solutions are released in the future, end-users can expect to see those launches added to the bundle.
