Polycom to integrate technologies into Microsoft Teams platform
The company has also simultaneously launched new audiovisual solutions to the market
Polycom has revealed that it has extended its long-standing partnership with Microsoft, a move that see the integration of its HD voice and video technology into Microsoft's newly minted Teams collaboration platform.
In addition to integrating its technology with Microsoft Teams, which serves as a chat-based workspace in Office 365, Polycom has launched two new audiovisual solutions to the market, Polycom RealConnect Hybrid and Polycom Microsoft Skype Room System.

Polycom RealConnect delivers video interoperability between Skype for Business online users in Office 365 and non-Skype for Business standard-based endpoints. Meanwhile, Polycom MSR, a Skype variant designed for the business environment, can be adjusted for maximised usage for any-sized conference room.
