Fujitsu and Silver Peak unveil new SD-WAN-as-a-Service
The new solution combines Fujitsu SDN/NFV Consulting Service and Managed Network Service with the Silver Peak Unity EdgeConnect SD-WAN solution.
In an effort to support service providers by expanding their offerings for enterprise clientele, Fujitsu Network Communications has joined forces with Silver Peak to launch a new SD-WAN-as-a-Service.
The new solution combines both Fujitsu SDN/NFV Consulting Service and Managed Network Service, along with Silver Peak Unity EdgeConnectSP SD-WAN solution.
Greg Manganello, senior vice president & head of Services, Fujitsu Network Communications, said: "Time to market is critical in today's highly competitive market. The Fujitsu SD-WAN-as-a-Service enables service providers to focus their efforts on winning customers now with the ability to integrate the service into their operations and support methodologies later."
The new offering enables service providers to quickly deploy SD-WAN-as-a-Service, freeing up resources to commit instead towards customer acquisition and revenue generation. The service utilises a subscription-based, pay-as-you-grow model, which makes it attractive to service providers wary of investment and operational costs.
Additionally, Fujitsu and Silver Peak's new service is managed by the Fujitsu Network Operations Center (NOC).
