Honeywell to showcase connected tech at upcoming WETEX 2017
Targeting the connected utilities market, Honeywell is expected to display its latest offerings in smart metering and software solutions
In addition to serving as strategic sponsor of the upcoming WETEX 2017, Honeywell is set to highlight its latest offerings in connected technologies for the smart city market.
The company is expected to display its latest offerings in smart metering and software solutions. In the case of the latter, Honeywell will demonstrate the capabilities of its Honeywell Smart Energy platform, which is utilised by utility operators to monitor energy usage.

Other Honeywell technologies to be showcased include The Experion Process Knowledge System (PKS) Orion, which boasts Industrial-Internet-of-Things (IIoT) capabilities, as well as processes for industrial plant management.
The company is also expected to promote its voice technology solution, Honeywell Vocollect, along with climate control solutions, such as the VisionPRO 8000 Thermostat for Mosques and the Honeywell Wi-Fi Smart Thermostat. These are accessible and manage via the Honeywell's Total Connect Comfort app, compatible with both iOS and Android.
Now in its 19th iteration, the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) is set to run from the 23-25 October, 2017, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC).
