Mimecast hosts event on stand
Introduced today the new cloud archiving solution at virtual launch event
Mimecast, a leading email and data security company, announced that it will be hosting a state-of- the-industry virtual event on cloud archiving, at Stand D1-42 in Hall 1 at GITEX Technology Week 2017.
The event forms part of the launch of the Mimecast Cloud Archive, the leading multipurpose archive solution built for the cloud. It is targeted at individuals and businesses who want to understand how Mimecast Cloud Archive enables customers to access their email archive anywhere, anytime, and on any device in record speed.
Email has emerged as the most important medium for business communication, surpassing even the telephone. There is a mismatch between today’s email workloads and the archaic archiving architectures still in common use today which causes disruptions in system availability from both planned and unplanned outages. The Mimecast Cloud Archive is designed and optimized for the cloud, offering the scale, performance and advanced features needed to manage email today.
“Employees become frustrated when they can’t access their archived emails on any device, anytime and from anywhere and over half of organisations view not having direct mobile access to data as the biggest gap in their current archive solution. Mimecast is working to help make a perfect-world archive achievable for organisations, where employees get the fastest search speed in the industry and can access the data that they need, when they need it and where they need it.” said Brandon Bekker, managing director at Mimecast MEA.
Attendees at the live virtual event will get to hear from Amanda Crew, actress from the hit HBO series Silicon Valley who will present key challenges in archiving plus insights and perspectives from Mimecast CEO Peter Bauer and Mimecast CTO Neil Murray. Attendees also get access to deep-dive demonstrations of the latest product innovations and live technical chat sessions with experts.
Those interested will need to register at mimecast.com/cloud-archive-virtual-event-2017 so they can access the recording of the Virtual Launch afterwards.
