Getac MX50 ready for battle
Unveils battlefield computer, Getac MX50, that can be attached as a chest mount
Getac Technology, a global provider of rugged computing devices, is putting on display its most robust products to date at its stand in Hall 3 of GITEX Technology Week.
The Taiwan-based company specialises in designing and manufacturing rugged computers that are resistant to impact, vibration, humidity, and many other factors that would render a consumer-grade computer inoperable.
At this year's iteration of the annual technology exhibition, the company has put its newly-released Getac MX50 front and centre. Designed with mobility in mind, the new 5.7-inch battlefield computer features a compact design that can be attached as a chest mount.
Weighing a mere 400g, the computer is an invaluable tool for soldiers in the field, providing them with real-time data that helps enhance battlefield awareness without compromising freedom of movement.
In addition to the Getac MX50, the company is also displaying a complete selection of accessories for its range of rugged laptops, tablets, and handheld devices.
Getac serves a wide range of vertical markets, which include military, public safety, healthcare, telecommunications, utilities, automotive, field service, transportation and logistics.
"We maximise user value by satisfying clients' needs through innovative technology and professional services," said a company spokesperson.
"This is accomplished by analysing the needs of different industries and striving to develop unique solutions, thus offering reliable information technology services for professionals in various environments."
