Infinet Wireless focuses on efficiencies
Diversifies portfolio to enable service providers launch newer services
Infinet Wireless is constantly striving to improve spectral efficiencies on one hand, and diversifying its portfolio on the other hand, to enable service providers launch newer services.
Dmitry Okorokov, CEO, Infinet Wireless says: "Networks are becoming smarter and more diversified. Service providers have additional requirements to be able to launch new services. Equipments need to provide reliable transport for all these new services. Moreover, they need to have the capability to be integrated in any type of existing or future infrastructure. We have been listening to the market and developing solutions they require."
Among the InfiNet solutions being displayed at GITEX 2017 is the InfiLINK XG 1000. This solution is now able to provide throughputs of up to 1 Gigabit per second over the air in 5GHz licence-free frequency bands, effectively doubling the capacity of InfiNet's previous highest performing product, the InfiLINK XG.
Okorokov adds that there has been an increased uptake of its solutions by operators across various markets of Infinet Wireless. "They see our solutions as the apt replacements for fibre. They can be deployed quickly, and are cheaper."
He stresses that the primary objective of the company is to provide reliable transport in all kinds of situations- both fixed and nomadic.
Going ahead, Infinet Wireless is trying to make its radios more spectral efficient. The other focus is on diversifying the solutions so that customers can get more bandwidth with less congested spectrum on higher frequency bands.
