D-Tangle has made its debut at GITEX Technology Week 2017 asking the question: if headphones always tangle and shoelaces always untie, why don't we make shoelaces out of headphones and vice-versa? Its patented design with custom designed mechanism ensures that all brands of headphones will never again get tangled.

"The gadget is a storage device for headphones with easy unwinding," explains Christina Nicholson, executive director, D-Tangle. "It can accommodate up to 47.5 inches of wire. We launched the concept a year ago in Cyprus and we have since established retail partnerships in Lebanon, in London, through Amazon.com in the US and also in Saudi Arabia, Taiwan and the Philippines."

D-Tangled next logic move then is to enter the UAE market, and according to Nicholson GITEX provides the ideal platform for this. "We're not present in the UAE yet and through these kinds of trade shows we can meet retailers, consumers and distribution partners. It's a huge event and we've met a lot of good people so we'll definitely be back next year."

D-Tangle is a brand owned by Laidback Life, a company with a purpose of designing and bringing to life commodities that will make everyday products more user friendly, easier to handle and at the same time more enjoyable. The start-up is exhibiting in the GITEX Future Stars area in New Zabeel Hall.
