Abu Dhabi Statistics Centre expects demand to jump
To go live with mobile accessible e-services on 10 October
Abu Dhabi Statistics Centre is set to go live with mobile accessible e-services on 10 October, the organisation announced on the first day of GITEX Technology Week.
"We managed to digitise all our services in-house through the customer happiness portal as per the digital transformation strategy of the Abu Dhabi Government," says Mohammad Ali Bin Futais Al Marri, data sector advisor at the Abu Dhabi Statistics Centre.
The launch of e-services almost certainly means the Centre will have to cater to a significant rise in the number of service requests, according to Al Marri. "But we are ready for it," he says.
The Abu Dhabi Statistics Centre provides services in data collection, consultancy, training, surveys, and opinion polling to various entities interested in tapping into statistical and economic data collected by the organisation.
By going the organisation will not be able to receive and accept service requests through mobile channels but manage user access, ascertain service level agreements and also assess the statistical maturity required by requests based on the fulfilment of compliance standards mandated by the Centre, according to Al Marri.
