WDC's newer launchers complements its range of hard drives for PCs and workstations
Western Digital Corporation (WDC) is offering access to its range of storage technology for both content solutions and components space during GITEX Technology Week.
Attendees at the exhibition will be able to view the new and improved MyCloudHome, A1 microSD card, and the 400GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card, which offers users the freedom and capacity to capture, save and share more photos, videos and apps.
Additionally, WDC's newer launchers complements its range of hard drives for PCs and workstations.
Khwaja Saifuddin, senior director, Components Division, India, Middle East & Africa, WDC, said: "For some time now, we have witnessed a growing interest in the security sector in our region and companies relying more heavily on safe data storage and reliable devices.
"Our new drives also include password protection and hardware encryption so customers will love their hard drive as much as they cherish the content stored on it."
WDC's portfolio caters for all needs; its WD Purple offers 24/7, always-on, high-definition security systems. With a supported workload rate of up to 180 TB/yr and support for up to 64 cameras, WD Purple drives are optimised for surveillance systems. Also its My Cloud Pro Series enables users to store data in one place, where it can be edited, saved and shared from anywhere providing there is an internet connection.
With SSD's gaining traction, WDC will showcase its range of SSD solutions, including the WD Blue SSD and WD Green SSD.
"We believe in delivering the most competitive and reliable solutions in the market and this year is no exception. Our recent product launches are a testimony to our constant endeavour to provide our customers the best storage solutions available in the market.
"We firmly believe GITEX Technology Week provides us an exceptional opportunity to interact and build upon the relationships with our existing customers and at the same time allow us to establish and incorporate connections with new and potential customers," concluded Saifuddin.
