LinkedIn to empower MENA organisations with 'Culture of Happiness’ award
LinkedIn is in partnership with UAE’s National Program for Happiness and Positivity
In line with the UAE's happiness initiative, professional social network LinkedIn is set to empower Middle East and North Africa companies by awards them with a happiness award.
LinkedIn is partnering with the UAE's National Program of Happiness and Positivity to introduce an award named the ‘Culture of Happiness' award. This will be awarded to organisations based on three fundamentals - Loyalty, Engagement and Positivity - all of which is taken from LinkedIn's platform data.
The aim of the award is to reiterate the importance of happiness, not only in the workplace but also in the job role itself.
The awards will have difference categories, such as Top Social Recruiters, Best Talent Acquisition team, Best Employer Brand on LinkedIn, LinkedIn Rising Star, Culture of Learning and Most Social Executive in addition to the new ‘Culture of Happiness' award.
Ali Matar, head of LinkedIn Talent Solutions, Emerging Markets, Middle East & North Africa, said: "LinkedIn's ‘Culture of Happiness Award' reiterates the importance of finding happiness in the work you do, and one of the best ways to do this is to find your dream job.
"This also aligns with LinkedIn's vision - to create an economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce. And today, we are honoured to partner the National program for Happiness and Positivity through the ‘Culture of Happiness Award'."
UAE's National Program for Happiness and Positivity was initially announced last year, along with the appointments and training of chief happiness and positivity officers. The program is to enhance government and private sectors to instil happiness and positivity in their work environments.
The awards will be held 18 October at the Four Seasons Hotel in Dubai.
