Avaya will be at GITEX Technology Week 2017 to showcase how it is working with organisations to design solutions that go beyond the digital experience, presenting real-world use cases from its customers across the Avaya International (Europe, Middle East and Africa, and Asia-Pacific).

According to the vendor, this is the first time ever at the event that it will highlight real-world use cases from its customers across the Avaya International organisation.

The vendor said it will also highlight how its unique discovery process and agile platforms are helping companies to create superior customer experiences and drive business success in today's digital world.

Nidal Abou-Ltaif, president, Avaya International, said that: "Delivering the superior customer experience that today's consumers demand requires meeting their expectations at every touchpoint - physical and digital."

Abou-Ltaif added that customers today want to get seamless experiences, regardless of the channel they use, on the devices of their choice and at their convenience. "This year's GITEX is the perfect platform for Avaya to demonstrate how we are working with customers and partners around the world to deliver flexible, future-proofed solutions that meet customer expectations in today's fast-moving digital world," he said.

Avaya pointed out that it will also demonstrate how its open, standards-based approach allows organisations to integrate emerging technology trends such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things and blockchain to simplify adoption and deliver measureable results.

"Avaya will bring these concepts to life at GITEX Technology Week through a series of exhibition areas devoted to specific vertical industries, including banking and finance, healthcare, hospitality, public safety, and more," Abou-Ltaif added.

Avaya said with 89% of organisations expecting to compete primarily on customer experience, according to Gartner, organisations need to evolve digitally and deliver truly differentiated experiences to their customers and workers.

Abou-Ltaif added that Avaya solutions are being used today by leading organisations across the Middle East and around the globe.
