Toshiba takes aim at enterprise storage

Vendor prepares to showcase enterprise storage solutions, Portégé X20W and Portégé X30 notebook array

Technology vendor Toshiba Gulf, has revealed that it will be showcasing its range of enterprise storage products and B2B notebooks at this year's GITEX Technology Week.

Toshiba said as a maker of B2B PC business, the attendance at GITEX this year is a further demonstration of that commitment to growing the commercial business portfolio in the Middle East.

Santosh Varghese, general manager, MEA, Digital Products and Services, Toshiba Gulf, said: "We will have a major presence at the event where we will be showcasing the all new and exciting additions to our business laptop range, the Portégé X20W and Portégé X30. These additions to Toshiba's laptop range mark our unswerving dedication to innovating for business customers, and creating products that don't compromise on performance, connectivity, features, battery life or durability."

Varghese said the enterprise storage products that will be showcased include Enterprise SSD, Enterprise Performance and Capacity HDD, and Surveillance drives. "We will also exhibit the latest range of Flash Air W-04, the next generation Flash Air, Wireless SD Card and the exclusive Canvio for smartphone, the only backup device for mobile devices exclusive from Toshiba," he said.

He added that Toshiba has a renewed strategy and focus in the Middle East. "This focus will ensure our customers have access to innovative products and solutions built on mobility, security, and reliable storage in order to address the challenges that trends such as digital transformation and the mobile workforce are presenting to them," he said.
