Samsung Gulf Electronics has released the Coral Blue edition of the Galaxy S8 series in the UAE.

The Galaxy S8 and S8+, now available in Coral Blue, joins the existing colour range of Midnight Black, Orchid Gray and Maple Gold.

Samsung reveals that the newest colour is more tranquil and it is inspired by nature, plus it is illuminated from the inside of the device's glass surface.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 features an edge-to-edge screen with Samsung detailing it wants users to experience an immersive viewing experience with its Infinity Display. By toying with the bezel, the screen now takes up 83% of the interface, which means the S8 has a 5.8" screen and the S8 Plus has a 6.2" face.

The traditional Galaxy features persist as well: IP68 water and dust resistance, microSD support up to 256GB, always-on display, and fast and wireless charging capabilities.

Other features include an advanced 8MP F1.7 Smart autofocus front camera and 12MP F1.7 Dual Pixel rear camera, along with Samsung's mobile security platform Knox.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 costs AED 2799 and the Galaxy S8+ is priced at AED 3099.
