SAS is a specialised business incubator centre, which was launched by the Information Technology Authority in 2013, to provide incubation and startup services to emerging Omani companies in the ICT sector. Based at Knowledge Oasis in Muscat, the SAS centre offers technical consulting, financial, marketing and legal services.

Hassan Fida Allawati, Director General of Digital Society Development Division, said: "e.oman Strategy focuses on developing the IT sector which is one of its most important pillars.  Hence, SAS Center was established with the aims of encouraging the emerging Omani companies, incubating their talents and urging them to be entrepreneurs and to utilize their skills.

"Since its launch, the center incubated 38 SMEs which signed a number of contracts with many government and private entities inside and outside the Sultanate, reaching up to OMR2.40 million.

"SAS welcomes all talented and enthusiastic youth who want to produce innovative IT solutions. We also urge the new incubated companies to benefit from the incubation period and from the provided services and facilities," he added.
