Nominations for 2018 NME Innovation Awards set for earlier launch
Extra time for organisations and individuals to send in their nominations
Nominations for the 2018 Network Middle East Innovation Awards will open this month.
This is to provide ample time for organisations and individuals to send in their nominations. The list of nominees has been growing every year as well and an even larger number of participants is expected this year.
The Awards will be held at the beginning of March 2018 for its thirteenth edition and will once again bring the IT networking community in the Middle East together to celebrate the success of the industry in the past 12 months.
The NME Innovation Awards are the industry’s longest running and most respected event. The awards seek to celebrate network industry champions across all aspects of the enterprise network, from data centres, through hardware, software and security.
End-users are recognised for their innovative and future-thinking implementations. The awards are covered extensively in Network Middle East magazine and online on ITP.net and through social media.
Judges comprise respected independent analysts, consultants and IT researchers.
The 2017 Awards were held on the 28th of March this year, with a total of 18 awards presented to worthy winners picked from about 120 nominations originally received, which were then whittled down to 87 in the final shortlist and picked by our panel of independent judges.
There were few surprises this year, with Kaspersky Lab taking home the Security Vendor of the Year accolade for the first time, and industry veteran Linksys/Belkin regional head Amanullah Khan being awarded the Networking Professional of the Year-Vendor award, one of two individual accolades.
