Business application specialist Infor has entered into a partnership with LinkedIn that will see the integration of LinkedIn Sales Navigator with Infor Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

The combination of both platforms is expected help support sales professionals by equipping them with data that could prove useful while interacting with customers.

Infor CRM offers a comprehensive view of applicable customer touch points across a number of functions, which includes sales, customer service and marketing teams, while LinkedIn Sales Navigator is connected directly with LinkedIn's 500 million member network.

In addition to delivering data across applicable devices in real-time, the integration also delivers new tools that are ideally suited for sales professionals. This includes the introduction of ‘TeamLink', the identification of new contacts via contextual lead recommendations, as well as notifications that highlight employment and company changes.

Utilising these tools, sales professionals will be able to review shared connections, interests, and link directly into a lead's recent activity feed.
