Elon Musk shares first images of Tesla Model 3
Tesla co-founder Elon Musk tweeted the first image of the Model 3 outside the official Tesla site in California
Elon Musk, co-founder and chief executive officer of Tesla, has taken to Twitter to share the first images of Model 3.
The images were taken soon after the electric vehicle came off the assembly line, with Musk captioning the image ‘First Production Model 3'. The first image of the Model 3 was taken in black and white, followed by a colour image (pictured), shot outside the Tesla factory site in California.

Tesla's new showroom is expected to open on 12 July in Dubai, however the CEO himself is not expected to attend the official opening. Instead the company's director of new markets for EMEA, Peter Bardenfleth-Hansen will open the Sheikh Zayed Road salesroom.
The RTA announced a deal in February this year to buy 200 Tesla cars as part of the Dubai Smart Autonomous Mobility Strategy aimed at transforming 25% of total journeys in Dubai into autonomous journeys by 2030.
The Model S sedans and Model X SUVs will be fitted with autonomous technology, something which Elon Musk said would become commonplace in cars in the next decade.
Prices of the electric vehicle will start from $74,800 (AED 275,000) for Model S and $93,600 (AED 344,000) for Model X.
During the World Government Summit in Dubai this year, Musk revealed that he expects Tesla to invest millions in the UAE's electric car infrastructure in the future.
