Mid-East welcomes fashion e-tailer DivaNoor

Luxury e-commerce retailer DivaNoor has entered the UAE market offering luxury French brands for Middle Eastern women.

DivaNoor aims to offer a mix of French and Arabic culture and fashion by offering high-end branded goods in beauty, fashion, accessories and jewellery.  

The Middle East has seen a boom in the e-commerce industry, with Amazon's acquisition of Souq.com and Emaar's Mohamed Alabbar's Noon.com.

BMI Research has revealed that the region is one of the fastest e-commerce markets in the works and forecasts e-commerce sales volume to rise from a 2016 estimate of $22.3bn to $43.3bn by 2020, of which $19.8bn will come from the UAE.

DivaNoor is adding to the Mid-East e-commerce space as it aims to drive sales through e-shopping designed for the region.

A spokesperson for DivaNoor said: "For centuries, the story of cultural relations between France and the Middle East has been one of mutual fascination. DivaNoor decided to cultivate these affinities by building a marketplace where French designers present their limited editions and On Demand products to stylish Arab women".
