Free happiness training from Happiness without Borders
Government chief happiness officers to offer free consultation to public and private sector
Happiness experts from UAE government entities will offer free training to other government organisations and private institutions through a new initiative to build happiness as a culture in the country.
Through the ‘Happiness without Borders' initiative, chief happiness and positivity officers from various government agencies will provide free consultation to share their experience and knowledge gained through the National Happiness and Positivity Programme.
The initiative will also include interactive workshops to support organisations in establishing a corporate culture of happiness and positivity. Certified experts from program will play advisory roles with institutions.
"The ‘Happiness without Borders' initiative follows the UAE's general trajectory, which prioritises education and training to empower the national workforce and involve them in government programmes," said Her Excellency Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Happiness. "The initiative also bears testament to the success of the training programme for Chief Happiness and Positivity Officers, whose role was always intended to go beyond their respective organisations to target society as a whole."
Chief Happiness and Positivity Officer at the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) Salah Al Hashimi added: "The team behind the ‘Happiness without Borders' initiative sought to use the experience and knowledge we acquired at the training sessions organised by the National Happiness and Positivity Programme, and pass them along to organisations across the UAE to promote happiness and support the nation-wide Year of Giving initiative."
