iOS 11 won’t be compatible with these Apple devices
Apple fans using older devices will not be able to experience the benefits of iOS 11
During Apple's annual worldwide developer conference the company revealed iOS 11, the next operating system which will be available later this year.
iOS 11 will bring a range of enhanced and new features, including improved speech in Siri where it will be able to translate sentences into different languages, from English to Chinese, French, German, Italian, or Spanish.
The update also includes encrypted payments through iMessage, a revamped control centre and additional photo functions.
However the bad news is that iOS 11 is only compatible with 64-bit apps and devices, meaning the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5C will not work with iOS 11, as well as the iPad 4, as they are all 32-bit products.
The update also affects 32-bit apps, meaning these apps will not work at all in iOS 11. By selecting the Settings option within the app, users can check the status of the app.
